LESBOS VASE

By upcycling life jackets washed ashore the coast of Lesbos, discarded items are transformed into small purchasable products. This initiative not only offers employment opportunities but also provides a source of income for refugee women and their families on Lesbos.

SOAP HOLDER

With the simple interlocking of multiple kitchen sponges, an everyday object with a new function - the Sponge Soap Holder - emerges. It consists of a base and a rear wall, crafted from a total of 60 kitchen sponges. Despite its banal origin, the sturdy construction ensures secure storage. The front shelf allows for flexible stacking of the sponges in various positions, blending practical utility with banal yet aesthetic design.

NEWTON'S APPLE

Through the design and reconstruction of an apple using simple paper material, color and texture were replicated through a selection of different coloring agents and application methods.

The metal sculpture illustrates the curvature of the human spine. The built-in mechanics of a lifting crane demonstrate the principle of raising and lowering on the stable double S-shape.
